Public Transport

The easiest way for tourists and commuters to travel to and from Pewsey is by train. The journey is just over one hour from London Paddington Rail Station and requires no train changes. Car parking at the Pewsey station costs a flat rate of £2.50 for up to 24 hours.

Pewsey is served by 2 different bus services to the surrounding area:

Wigglybus

The Wigglybus is a "flexible transport service" which provides regular transport for people living and visiting the Vale of Pewsey. Three buses operate on three core circular routes linking villages and hamlets to Devizes and Pewsey.

Of special note:

All requests are made and booked in advance by telephone to a call centre.
You can also hail the bus if there is an unbooked space.

By phoning 01249 460600 the bus will divert off its core route, pick you up and then drop you off at any other point on that route.

• Outside post office (to Swindon via Marlborough)
• In between the fire station and police station on North Street (to Salisbury via Amesbury)
• Pewsey Vale Secondary School (limited service on school days only)

• Near railway station (to Swindon via Marlborough)
• On Church Street, about 50 yards BEFORE the TOTAL garage
• On Church Street, about 50 yards PAST the TOTAL garage (to Salisbury via Amesbury)
• Broomcroft Road
• Corner of River Street & Church Street
• Vale Road
